To start off, I really wanted to like this book. And it just rushed to the Bloodletter taking leadership of the Vamps. It started off saying the entire circle was in disarray because the Dragon Court didn’t have a heart, the Vampire Court had no leader and was waiting for The Gargoyle Court to take their position. I’m still in the dark about where Smokey was in the end because yes, she was able to come to earth but no mention of her after the battle for the crowing ceremony. Hudson was so secretive about his plans that it seemed like he was more interested in leading the Vampire Court instead of joining Grace in the Gargoyle Court. Izzy was too bothered to show up even though she played such a big part in Court. I can’t get over the fact that after all the build up on Jaxon and Flint they fizzled out in Cherish. I have read them and listened to them on audible multiple times. The more I think about Cherish and everything that happened, I’m a little disappointed. Ok so after reading this book straight thru and finally getting some sleep, I think my review needed to be updated. But all in all, I love these 6 books and I’m looking forward to the the Remi spin-off, Sweet Vengeance. I’m also grieving the fact there won’t be any more books in this series. There was not anything else about Smokey in the end. And the storyline with Jaxon and Flint feels unfinished. I still feel like Hudson had more to unpack. I really felt like the ending was rushed. I really enjoyed this series so dam much.
